The Challenge
Renneberg is a multidisciplinary firm offering audit, tax, legal, and business consulting from three German offices: Hamburg in the HafenCity, Göttingen, and a site near Göttingen. The firm has been growing steadily, hiring new colleagues every month, and at the same time the Hamburg office went into a renovation phase that reduced the available floor space.
Growth plus renovations created exactly the moment where a workplace tool becomes essential. The team needed clear answers to simple questions: Who is coming in today? Will there be a seat? Can a colleague from another office plan a visit? Without a coordination layer, those questions had to be answered manually, every single day. With one, they answer themselves.
The firm wanted a tool that would work for everyone immediately, not after weeks of training. The introduction to PULT came through a trusted contact at Renneberg's HR tool partner, and the fit was clear from the first conversation.
Why PULT?
PULT won the evaluation on two points. First, the interface was clean enough that the team could pick it up without onboarding sessions. The login via link removed friction at the very first step, and the floor plan editor made space management visual and intuitive from day one. Second, PULT's approach was additive, not disruptive. Instead of forcing the firm to replace existing tools, PULT slotted into the stack alongside Pointchamp and Outlook, adding the workplace coordination layer that was missing.
PULT in Action
Today, all 85 Renneberg employees in Hamburg work with PULT. The clean desk policy and the booking system were rolled out together, which meant the team adopted the new way of working in one clear step. Two quiet rooms were also configured in PULT for focus work, while larger conference rooms stay on the existing Outlook calendar to keep external academy bookings clean.
The Outlook integration was activated through a single quick exchange with PULT support. Once on, every desk booking automatically appears in each employee's personal calendar. Colleagues see at a glance who is in the office that day, without checking a second system. For a firm where partners and consultants coordinate constantly, that visibility makes everyday planning noticeably easier.
The floor plan editor became an unexpected favorite on the admin side. Visual, intuitive, and quick to adjust, it lets the office management team reconfigure spaces in minutes as renovations and team needs shift. For Katrin, who runs PULT as admin, the real win is the ability to step into any user's profile to adjust bookings or resolve coordination questions in seconds. When a colleague messages asking to free up a seat or shift a booking, it gets handled on the spot.
